Worthing TweetUp

The other day I got chatting to David Rosam on  Twitter when we discovered that we lived very close to each other.  It occurred to us that there were probably a number of other Twitter users in the area, failing that it seemed likely that there would be lots of freelancers & assorted geeks Worthing [...]

I just noticed that Facebook have stopped pre pending their statuses with “is:” which, in my opinion is a good thing. Unfortunately they haven’t stopped pre pending “is twittering: ” to updates that come in from twitter.
Fortunately Dustin Brewer has come to the rescue by developing twittersync which, as the name sort of suggest syncs [...]

I reluctantly caved in and joined Facebook a few weeks back. At the time I really couldn’t see the point, after all - I have my blog and twitter for talking at people, Flickr for my photos, del.icio.us for bookmarks and last.fm for my music. Why would I need anything else?

I was really hoping that I’d be able to go to @media 2007 in London next month but for one reason & another (it not having being signed off by the boss & actually being on holiday) I won’t be there. It’s a shame, but with any luck there’ll be plenty blogged about it. [...]

This morning I added a box at the top of the blog entitled “what’s fordie up to now?” this takes a feed from Twitter. Twitter is one of the many social network type websites, the idea of this one is that you can let your friends (and complete strangers) know what you’re doing right now.
