SussexDigital has been live for a little over two weeks, and so far I am pretty pleased with how it’s going.
It’s early days, and it’s very much an MVP, but I can already see the value that the network offers.
If I had tried to build the site a couple of years, or even a few months ago, I am not sure that I would have got as far with it. I am leaning heavily on AI tools to research, design and build far quicker, and more effectively if had tried to do everything myself.
I started out working with ChatGPT, using it to guide me through working with WordPress. I have used WordPress for years, but recently found it much harder to navigate, when I found the Atlas browser things sped up considerably as a ChatGPT could “see” what I was working on and give me more relevant and specific help.
The breakthrough came when I found out about Codex. I was able to create a new custom theme in next to no time and replace a number of plugins that I had previoulsy designed the site around with custom code.
I’m currently working on a couple of new features which I plan to roll out before the middle of next month, which will make SussexDigital a far more valuable resource and hopefully see traffic increase
